Orfeo Lamore is a multidisciplinary and multicultural design studio with roots in both France and Italy. As a product and furniture designer, he creates everyday objects that stand out for their simplicity and reinterpretation of customs and practices related to them. The design of his products strikes a balance between craftsmanship and industrial aesthetics, with material choices justified by their visual and technical understanding.
Since 2023, he has also been conducting research on consciousness through design, following his graduation project and residency at the École de Condé in Paris. His thoughts and research stem from observing his environment, current social customs, and his interest in astrophysics, quantum physics, and spirituality. His works explore the plasticity of light to generate forms that induce altered states of consciousness.His creations are conceived to be used in a domestic setting where the notions of need and space are sensitive, and where questions of emptiness, emotions, and dreamlike experiences remain uncertain to this day.
