Fil Rouge is a wall light made for Basket Club contest. The request was creating a product inspired by this emoji “🪡”. It inspired me the legend of the red thread, symbole of destiny and love, especially in Asia. I interpreted this legend by a technical answer. I wanted to create a product with less material as possible. Indeed, all the pieces of this wall light are connected with only a red thread, there are no screw, no welding or any glue except for the LED stripes attaches behind. Furthermore, this project is part of a series of lighting disposal through which I explore the plasticity of light. There are not ment to illuminate but create luminous presences.
